1. Yes. Despite the decline in professionals, the amount of accounting work and complexity continues to increase, leading to higher demand for accounting services. The accounting industry is expected to transform with AI adoption, promising faster, cheaper, and better services for consumers and potentially more efficient and rewarding roles for accountants who adapt. Therefore, while the traditional model of accounting is changing, accounting can still be a good profession for those who embrace new technology and the evolving roles within the field.

2. Developing skills to work with AI, moving from doing manual tasks to more strategic, review, and advisory roles. Also, understanding the market demands efficiency and higher client service levels, so accountants who can leverage AI for better outcomes will be in demand.

1.I believe that although AI technology is getting more prominent within the accounting profession there is still a large demand for accounting graduates. Furthermore Accounting also allows you to branch out later on and move on to profesions such as banking and even governmental work. However the landscape of accounting will change with the extensive implementations of AI. As such it is imperative that as an accountant you learn and efficiently use AI to help manage and analyse your work. If you embrace the new technology and learn how to use it there is no doubt that accounting will still be a solid profesion to turn to.

I think YES currently, as AI still cannot make the calculations 100% correct , so there are needs for the employee of accounting profession, but the wage may decrease as AI may help to alleviate the workload. But it seems like risky if you only have the degree of accounting, as maybe the advanced development of AI will has 0 error and totally replace uuuu!

I think apart from pursuing the accounting degree , you may need to secure a double major to increase your competence, making you less likely to become the alternative of AI

Even with the AI technology integration, we think the accounting professional will be able to adapt just like other markets. For instance, in the case of providing initial support for small businesses / enterprises with making accurate financial reports, establishing relationships with government regulators, not all of these businesses can easily implement AI in their activity, so human factors will still play a huge role.
