         <description><![CDATA[<div>The building belonging to Atatürk and Ethnography Museum, located in Uşak City Center Bozkurt District, Hisarkapı Uluyolu, was built in the 1890s.<br> The building belonging to one of the prominent families of Uşak, known as Kaftancızades, was used as headquarters building during the War of Independence.  received together.  Although Commander-in-Chief Trikopis was a prisoner, he was welcomed by Atatürk with Turkish hospitality.<br> The building, which was expropriated in the mid-1970s, was opened on September 1, 1978 as the Atatürk and Ethnography Museum.<br><br>Huri Elif K. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Uşak, whose name was&nbsp; 'Temenothyrea' in ancent times, is located in the region connecting West and Central Anatolia in the Inner Agean Region.</div><div>Before the historical ages,it came under the rule of Phrygia then Lydia and the Great Alexander in 330 BC. In 189 BC. Roman Empire , then In 395 AD. , with the division of&nbsp; the empire into two, Uşak passed to the Eastern Roman Empire.<br>After 1071 the city was changed    between The State of Selçuklu and Byzantium.After the coollapse of this state,Uşak was  the land of The Ottoman Empire. The city became a city center in 1953 during the Rebuplic of Turkey.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Taşyaran valley ,which is about 45 km away from the city center on the Uşak-İzmir highway,was formed as a result of Water wind and tectonic movements. The rocks that cover the valley and take on different colors starting from the ground seem like a painter's color palatte.The Gediz River,fed by the water of the mountains in the inner parts of western Anatolia,has created interesting formations in this part of Gediz Havsaz,which includes the Taşyaran valley .          <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;That is the name given to a collection of 363 valuable Lydian artifacts dating from the 7th century BC and originating from Uşak Province in western Turkey, which were the subject of a legal battle between Turkey and New York Metropolitan Museum of Art between 1987–1993 and which were returned to Turkey in 1993 after the Museum admitted it had known the objects were stolen when they had purchased them.          <description><![CDATA[<div> Ulubey Canyon covers an area of 119 hectares (290 acres). It is 100–500 m (330–1,640 ) wide and 135– 170 m (443–558 ) deep, with a total length of 40–45 km (25–28 mi). The streams Ulubey Creek and Banaz Creek (tributaries of Büyük Menderes River) run through the Ulubey Canyon.The main canyon along both creeks has tens of big lateral canyons. The walls of the canyon are 10–30 m (33–98 ) and 50–55 m (164– 180 ) high. At least three terraces are visible in the canyon walls.
