- This quote showcase the internal issues between the comfort she has between her and Holden. She seems closed and not wanting to kiss Holden in the mouth further illustrates how she doesn't feel comfortable calling what she is with Holden a real relationship, she doesn't know how to feel about it, but its not something shown with a kiss on the mouth. 
- Holden never really talks a physical description about Jane, maybe because he doesn't people to know about the beauty of his significant other. -Sunny comes in as a prostitute, even though she is meant to be "sexy" she gives out this concerning vibe about her that isn't ready for the life she is in. Her lack in confidence in her is what mainly gives in perspective of who she will become.
-As Holden is pure at heart, he doesn't do anything with her, instead to just talk. He see through Sunny's persona and is able to help her by just talking. -Phoebe is a very outgoing character, she is described as one. She is a participle person who agrees with mostly everything anyone says to be able to look good. But she's someone with good taste, as she keeps everything in a form to be able to live a life good.
-Holden speaks of her in good word. He enjoys Phoebe, as she is one that is often compared with. She has a good thinking and stays firm with what people she cares about. -Allie is described as one of the more smart characters in the book. He is noble and constantly stays in a good look between everyone. Taken away early in his life he still left a good reputation for everyone to follow.
-Holden only has good words about Allie. -Sally is a the beauty goddess on the novel. She is spoken highly in her looks, she is a women that has ice skated and tends to have shallow personality. She is in still good morals and keeps a good like to Holden.
-One of Holden's dates, she is always spoken about who she is and how her life. He had the feeling of marrying her because of the feelings her felt about her from the beginning. It is changing for him compared to any women he has ever been with. The adult beauty figure he loves.

-Lillian loves the way she gets attention, she dated Holden's older brother and became a naval officer to showcase that she's more than a good looking body. She knows what guys will look when it comes to her so she does her best to not be a good looking body with nothing but that. She wants to grow up and become as powerful as those who seek her.
