As these videos are short I feel I can absorb the information easily and I pause them for a few minutes every five or so minutes to practice and write down anything I didn't know to look up.

Looking at how people have translated phrases into German by looking at real German articles and film scripts to find a translation which makes sense. This helps with things from my first homework where I put 'ich gehe' rather than 'ich fahre' when talking about a trip.
