I am working on journeymxn, a podcast and media channel for skilled trades and skill-based work that doesn't require a 4-year degree because I believe in having equitable information for families and individuals to make a choice about their livelihood. Rates of trauma in New Orleans are some of the highest in the United States; this impacts students and their teachers. Nearly 30% of the teaching force leaves every year in our city. I think this trauma plays a part.
