After her guardian angel, Patch, becomes distant, Nora turns to an old family friend. Throughout the book Nora must face many challenges but also finds out more about her fathers death. I was absolutely in love with this series I read all the books within a week. The storyline enthralled me with each chapter, I would happily suggest this book to anyone who loves fantasy novels with a reoccurrence of the reality of the average teenager.

With betrayal in love throughout the book, this story has you clinging to every word wondering what comes next even if you had played the game and know the story through codex pages. I usually don't read books that go along with video games I play but I felt so many conflicting emotions throughout the harsh story and found myself reading until the pages ceased in one sitting.
