I liked this book in the fact that it talked about a student who struggles with learning. It takes us through a young girls school life and her struggles. She happens to make friends who stay with her through her many struggles. It discusses how someone who didn't fit in, could change everything and be an inspiration to people. 
This uplifting story about someone who struggles yet succeeds would be great for any student who has ever struggled with something in school. In this specific book Mandy tries to save a family of hedgehogs. Once Mandy and her family had tended to the hedgehogs, they knew they had to be released back into the wild, but Mandy and her friends had to find a way to do it safely.
