If we are using a single source, a book, in most cases, is better. This is because a book will usually contain more information than a website, and is often less influenced by opinion. However, a website also has its pro's. For example, there are many online webpages on the same topic, which allows for more information if multiple sources are being used. You also have the ability to get both fact and opinion which is useful for specific topics. Overall, we think a website has more use than a book, especially when using multiple sources.

After comparing the two, we have agreed the Canadian Encyclopedia is a better source. This is because the information is more clear and better formatted. We also prefer the cleanliness of the Canadian Encyclopedia, which is somewhat important as it affects our ability to gather information. We also like that the Canadian Encyclopedia states its sources in the description, which allows us to fact-check. However, what it comes down to is preference.
