         <description><![CDATA[<div>Often, the entire community would be involved in the healing process. The term "medicine" used by American Indians could refer to actions, traditions, ceremonies, remedies, and other forms of prayer. I found it interesting that most Indians today use "white man's medicine" for "white man's diseases" (such as cancer), and Indian medicine for Indian problems like pain, or sickness of the spirit. </div>]]></description>
