The last of our mixed team studies, the 5th team MAGAZINE COVER DESIGN studies, was completed with an online meeting initiated and managed by me as an English teacher at Eçialan Primary School. The students presented their beautiful and creative designs to us and their friends, just like real magazine quality. They explained their subjects, shared their designs with us. And they sent their love to each other by making them from their hearts as usual for the final of their mixed team studies. They promised each other to see each other at the next meeting :)

During this week's event, our children participated in a sapling planting activity called "From Seed to Sapling." While planting their saplings, they wrote hopeful messages about how they envision the future of our world and buried these messages next to their saplings. We created our joint product by establishing a relationship between the Visual Arts class and citizenship visuals. Each page of our puzzle was colored by students from one of our classes and we combined them into a whole. Then, we showed the entirety of the visuals we created to our students and emphasized that a piece does not actually mean anything, but when we create a whole through cooperation, it can mean a lot, and therefore, if we act with a sense of citizenship as a society, we can achieve many things.

We combined our message garden activity for the future with the FOREST WEEK activities in which 70 students and teachers participated as a whole school. And we planted fruit saplings and olive saplings in our school garden. The local press also showed interest. Our sapling planting activity as a whole school became meaningful.
