Was there anything you'd like to know more about?

Thanks everyone! I really enjoyed the presentations. What struck me were the colourful semantics. In our TYCEMC course we've been looking at a similar way to analyse sentences with the help of different colours and standardised questions to guide the students. What I like about it is that once the students understand the system, you can control the amount of scaffolding that is needed or scaffold in such a way that is appropriate to your specific target in that lesson. The substitution tables are quite similar in the sense that they provide students with a clear framework that they can refer to, which boosts students' confidence and gives them a sense of ownership over their learning. In addition to differentiation, these ways of scaffolding are incredibly useful for our (EAL) learners. For future meetings I'd like to learn more about co-teaching and how to best develop this skill.
