He will also talk about certain things in biology and then say “my athletes know what i’m talking about” and he will look at all the boys in the class. The team was split into two with two male captains, chosen by the gym teacher. Both captains chose the boys first and the girls last. Instantly I noticed that all the girls felt like they were the last choice. As we played volleyball I was told by a guy on my team “why can’t we switch you out with —-“ The person he wanted me to switch out with was another guy on the opposing team. He continued to talk down to me throughout the unit. I noticed it happened within the other teams as well.
