The author had dropped us suddenly, where we do not have any back story on what the situation was, why she was there, and how she managed to recover. Only later in the chapter do we get to know a bit about herself, allowing for us to answer our queries we had at the beginning of the chapter. Overall, I think the ending could have started with who she was, and it would have lead us up to her present day moment.

An important dialogue between characters is at the beginning of the book, when our main character returns to school and she meets her ex best friend: CP. They had gotten off on bad terms, and CP's betrayal is only confronted by hate from our main character, emphasizing the hurtfulness of CP's action.

The quote is, "So the nutcase returns. She said. Did you escape? Hey, everyone, the House of Psychosis is missing a lunatic. I took aim at my former friend, shouting, I could vomit up the alphabet soup and it makes more sense than you." Although it was CP who had started the fight, it was our main character who really fired back and kindled it.

Confessions: The Murder of an Angel has two main themes: fear and anger. This is because Tandy was so driven to destroy the family business which ruined the lives of her family members, which causes her to be fueled with the anger of how it changed her life and the fear that she shouldn't be doing this. They are the two most basic emotions, and they can cause people to run away from stress, at a great cost to themselves. The fear and anger that frequently rush through Tandy was so real that I could almost feel it myself.

An example of anger she feels is on page 52, when she says, "My anger had been surging as I spoke. I hadn't quite managed to keep it out of my voice."

I think that what I wrote is an accurate representation of what happens in the book. I go over many parts of the book, but I also focus on the character, Tandy, and I do not go further into other characters to a personal level.

I also learned that I must really dive into a book and analyze it to understand all the aspects, and while take this book apart, I felt as if I was the author, and it was my job to right the different aspects of the book and how they correlate to the main plot or theme.
