         <description><![CDATA[<div>Co-construct classroom rules so that students understand the expectations better and become responsible for their own rules. We need to allocate time to reinforce/practice these rules as well.<br><br>Pri 5 students can be more independent in creating the rules as they have more experience while Pri 3 students might need more guidance from the teacher.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To note:<br>Try to adopt school-established routines like 5 fingers up to not overwhelm them.<br><br>Any differences between Pri 3-5? Perhaps not so much.<br><br>However, in Pri 5, to provide greater autonomy in deciding the class contract, facilitated by class Chairpersons.<br>Empowering students to play a part in establishing/ enacting the contract. Ie: Assigning monitors (front and back) when travelling from one place to another.<br><br>The whole idea is to eventually help them regulate themselves independently.</div>]]></description>
