“According to
Patricia Hewitt, former UK Health Secretary, It is up to all of us what we do really want to eat, if we really want to practice some sports or not, and how are we going to teach our children to eat properly and healthy food. Even if the government write down some measures against the over-weight and the obesity in the country, that will only help people to take care of the healthy
problems obesity has, but those measures are not really enough. If we don’t
care about our weight, even with the government anti-obesity measures you will
still be obese. You are the one who has to change your mind about this
over-weight problem and how would you face it.”

How does lifestyle
contribute to obesity?

It is known that many of the obese people tend to eat that
much because they are suffering of bad feelings due to their daily life, like
bulling, anger, boredom, sadness, or just because they feel stressed. If we
could try to avoid bulling in high schools and if the parents of those children
that are suffering obese problems would try to help their children, maybe there
wouldn’t be so many obese children in the country. We must try to help, not
just children, but adults too, to stop them of feeling low, so they could feel
better with themselves and so on we could prevent those people to eat so much
food to try to think in something different, not related to their daily
problems.
