I have been using digital storytelling in the classroom for about 15 years. I have used it as a formative and summative assessment. My students created their own news magazine that evolved over 5 years. (The DSL Engineer Report) I was also lucky enough to be a consultant for Digicom Learning helping spread the joy of digital storytelling throughout the district and beyond.

Did all the digicom classes. Tried it a few times in my classroom. It was a huge waste of time. I would love to see if there is something simpler that is quick and easy. I've made several movies myself for projects but it's been a while.

Have used quite a bit, mostly iMovie. I am looking to expand what I have done and how to incorporate it into the classroom. I use story mapping from time to time.

Love digital story telling in the classroom and am working on incorporating it more and more.

Very Limited experience with digital storytelling. Georgia came into my classroom, she taught a lesson using a Hiaku for a math lesson on ratios. Unfortunately, I have not ventured there since.

I incorporate a few video projects with my US History, AP American History, Public Safety Academy, and Ethnic Studies courses. Though I am not strong in using WeVdeo at all, I am strong in video lesson design, filmmaking tools for writing and storyboarding, and rubric creation. I require all my students to sign up to my WeVdeo Classroom during the year so that all students have a common platform, though they may use other video-making tools of their choosing.

I love UDL activities. I enjoy making WeVideo presentations to show my students. I have allowed my students to build WeVideo presentations. They seem to enjoy the "hands-on" activities.

I work 8th grade ELA. I have had the students create a digital story through story board, or adobe AI I am currently looking to use Wevideo as a group project. The students will be making a play or radio play.

I do not have any experience with movie making. I have had my students create Flipgrids before they shut down. Other than that I have little experience. I’m excited to learn a new method and medium that students can utilize for engagement.
