Goal: Having the class engaged in their learning and the lesson. For the most part in their school year, they have been engaged but I do have a couple that lose focus and do not participate. Allowing them to be engaged and excited will help them continue their growth. Learning new strategies to keep students engaged and participating every day is my goal for this school year.

Measurement: When I walk around the classroom all students are focused on what is going on in the lesson. I am able to ask them a question and they are able to respond correctly with no cues from peers or teacher. Having an exit ticket for them and reviewing it as data and reflect on how the students did as a whole and individually.

It is good that you want to implement teaching strategies to expand the knowledge of the subject you teach. Focus on one or two teaching strategies to gather data on the implementation of your subject matter. Such as an exit ticket to receive data on student learning or perhaps an engagement strategy to get your students involved. Remember your subject matter is broad, are there certain subtopics you want to focus on?

How will you and your co-teacher exchange feedback? A journal that you share back and forth, face to face, texting, etc.

If you have any questions about feedback, work with your mentor or develop a method that works best for both of you.
