I was taking this course during my LLM. The instructor has created an atmosphere in the class that helped me learning the core concepts of Islamic Commercial Law such as the concept of Riba, Transactions of Sale, lease, guarantee and mortgage etc. The professor used to give us the facts of a hypothetical case and the instructor would guide us to solve the case. It was such an amazing experience that I published the outcome of the process in the form of research papers.

I was teaching a course at QAU on moot courts and role playing. I conducted an activity by asking the students to prepare a one pager proposition for a small moot court having maximum two issues. The students took keen interest in writing the moot propositions from their heads.

I have learn the easiest way to understand the judgment of the court. In this session, I clearly understand how to read the judgment in short time. Which was divided in different category like Facts of the case, issues under session, what kind of Law involve in this judgement, Legal solution and finally court verdict on the issues.

It was very helpful to read the judgment.

It was a lecture of criminal law where the instructor assigned us a case regarding insanity and we had to present the case in groups. It engaged me a lot to prepare the background of the case .It was combination of research and critical analysis. It was effective to learn the new legal issues.
