I love this lesson so much, pro/con debates are so important for argumentative writing. I actually really think I want to use the example one that I just went through - I love that it has the chat feature that keeps students on track and tells them to add more evidence.

I think this resource would be great when it comes to the research projects we do in 7th ELA. I think having students be able to talk to people during a specific time period (1960s or 1930s for 7th grade) could allow them to gather more background information. I wonder if they can also pretend to be characters from the books we read, if so students having a conversation with a main character that references that text would be AMAZING!

The conversational nature of chatbot makes it incredibly easy for students to engage with it. I like the idea of using this with some of my upper-level students when they're researching certain styles or techniques. They can easily dive deeper into certain styles and regions of the world without much effort.

The guided questions that Brisk Boost is able to produce is really incredible. This could be a great tool for the introduction into the stages of clay, wood firing, or something as technical and specific as glaze chemistry.

This would be amazing for students to recall information and get instant feedback. I am going to go back and and do the math one as well. The Harry Potter topic was just calling my name as a muggle!

As an LF, this is a quick and easy way to explore possible career paths. We have these discussions often with students as we talk about career readiness traits.

I used the Career Counselor in MagicSchool to discover suggestions for a student on my gifted caseload. I could see using this tool in the future to provide career ideas, an education path, and suggest high school courses.

I think the rap battle in Magic School could be a creative way to practice argumentative writing. This could be a very unique way of showing students alternative perspectives and acknowledging how to write an argument with a strong foundation.

I thought it was awesome that I could change the language of the Wikipedia page and if I typed in German in the chat, it would respond. I could really see a number of uses for this in the classroom: interacting with a historical figure, a character in a German book, historical events, etc.

I think Magic School is great at taking my ideas or instructional practices and expanding on them to elevate my instruction. I think whole group chatting with AI to introduce a topic would be super engaging to students, letting them ask questions and the teacher type/ chat with the robot. I think it would be a fun closure activity to have students ask any remaining questions at the end of the lesson to the AI chat, kind of simulating a new take on "KWL" charts.

I love the self directed part of this. I think I could use this to help quick finishers with a deeper thinking of topics, as well as an additional walk through for struggling students.

My students would get a kick out of this. I can have them create rap battles between book characters and real-life people (like I did with the attached image - a character and a person we discuss) to connect what we're reading with real-life examples. It also takes the stress out of writing raps; students can really struggle with that.

Using Brisk Pulse check is a great way to give students content and have AI generate immediate scaffolding and feedback on their progress towards meeting the learning objectives.

The Brisk Boost/ Pulse Check resource is great at being able to provide differentiated feedback and questioning, it even has a text to speech feature. This could be integrated during student lead learning when teachers provide presentations on google classroom or other resources, like peardeck.

In kindergarten, we could use this a class to explore different careers. Maybe even careers that aren't the 'typical' careers that kindergarten students think of.

We take time to explore careers in Accounting. This would be a great resource for students to explore schools, courses required, tips for preparing in high school as well as to get information about different jobs related to Accounting (or Business). This could also be used for general career exploration in Money Management.

I love that you can take a video and have the learning objectives with real time feedback for students through the AI chat. This would be a great independent learning option for a FID day, or in rotations, or while a teacher is working with a small group. Easy way to differentiate!

This would be a super fun thing to do with kids in social skills lessons. We could think of characters with poor or really good social skills and have them debate ways to use social skills or problem solving skills to get a long with others. It might be fun to have the students act out a character and perform the rap!

I think this would be a great way to examine students' learning related to how to post transactions in Accounting or to make money decisions related to investing in Money Management & Investing. I think this could be really great for comparing returns for stocks/bonds and having students calculate while also explaining.

I would love to see my students use this to make connections between all of the books we read during the school year. This would be really cool as a final product for the students to use this AI tool. Then, they could explain the pieces that are involved in the rap. Lastly, they could add a verse to the rap!

I could use this in math. I could divide the class into groups and give the whole class a number. They could create a rap that tells different ways/forms of representing that number.

This could be very helpful with my kiddos as a follow up to Xello. Xello can be quite complicated for some of my students but this technology could easily help them to get answers to questions they may have.

This is great because it can respond even if the students spell things incorrectly or give short responses. This could be amazing to use on a FID day as it guides the students if they are struggling.

I loved that this had to do with fractions which is our current focus in 4th grade right now. This is very interactive and students could do this during math independent time for practice! It continues to provide multiple practice problems as well, but students would love getting to chat back and forth with AI.

This one was awesome!! I can see this being used for students to review and talk through a novel we are reading or to historical figures and work through the issues of a time period. I think this also can be a helpful way to get students brainstorming before a character or conflict based problem!

I could integrate Magic School by using the song generator to help teach a social skill/academic topic. After exploring the powerpoint, I made my own account to look up other activity options.

My one student does a lot of voice to text and asks questions about pop culture. The character chat would be a great resource to have him further explore voice actors.

I could incorporate this as a foundation or first draft for job descriptions, letters, documents etc. leaving any specific or private information out and make adjustments to fit Warwick or a specific situation/policy. I could see this being really helpful. Loved the Harry Potter activity!

I could definitely include the Rap Battle premise in a social studies lesson where opposing sides are debating. We are also currently working on persuasive/opinion writing, so this could be a fun way to debate sides of a prompt topic.

This was great! I'd love to play around with creating my own version of this to use to check for math understanding. I loved the way it walked through each step but also made me justify and explain my answer using proper fractional terms. I also liked the option to voice record as an accommodation for some students.

Our ELA story at the end of this week and into next is a historical fiction piece about the moon landing and I had planned to have the students learn some background knowledge before we read it. I think this would work perfectly so they can explore questions that I don't know the answer to.

The career counselor feature on MagicSchool is PERFECT for my personal finance class. We do a unit on Careers and how to choose one that fits for you. Also, a lot of my students have questions about what education or requirements they need for the career they want. This wold be a tremendous help, since I don't know all the answers or even all the possible careers out there.

I think this research can be valuable for students who are working on language goals. It would incorporate generating ideas, formulating sentences, and creating discussion points to back up their ideas.

I was impressed with the type of in-depth, higher-level thinking questions that it asked about fractions. It provided feedback as well. Very cool! I could use this with right triangle trigonometry to have students explain how they knew to set up a specific ratio.

The rap battle would be so much fun for almost any novel or topic that contains at least two characters. I plan to use it for the Wild Robot and OSOB!

This would be excellent in comparing and contrasting characters or event in a story. I created a rap battle between Roz and the otters (beginning of the Wild Robot) and assigned it in Seesaw as a fluency and accuracy practice.
