I do sympathize for Walter because he is trying to do his best for the family, even if they are not the best ways, he is still trying. And even after his ups and downs, at the end, he finds away to help his family. No matter what is thrown in Walters way, he will always get back up to do better.

Why this picture relates to Walter is because he is always trying to get money so he can buy things for his family and help them with rent, and maybe to get some cold ones. But money is a big part of Walters life, a huge part. If he doesn't have any money then he can't live, which is a bad way to live, but in a time like this, it dose some what help.

Why this poem relates to Walter is because he knows all the mistakes that he has done and is not proud of them, but he is going to change. Moving into the new house Walter is going to try and change the way he is by looking back at his mistakes and learn from them so he doesn't make them again and can help his family in the long run.

Why I chose this situation is because Troy saying that he doesn't have to like Cory is a perfect example of the theme.

How the plays characters are the same is that Walter is like Troy because they both work and bring home the money and that's all they care about. How Ruth and Rose are the same is that they stay home and keep the house and people in order. How Cory and Travis are the same is that they are told to be like their fathers and to not be themselves.

How the characters in the plays are different is that Walter changed at the end and learns to love his family, but Troy is the same until he dies and doesn't really change. How Rose and Ruth are different is that Rose was cheated on, but Ruth did the cheating. How Cory and Travis are different is that Cory is a teenager and goes into the army because of the way his father treated him, and Travis is a young boy and is being taught to be what ever he wants to be.
