Many parents worry about their kids on their technological devices. While it is understandable for a parent to check on their child's web activity occasionally, it's unnecessary to constantly monitor their child's digital life. Parents shouldn't completely monitor their kids' digital lives because it is an invasion of the child's privacy, the child won't learn essential life skills on their own, and they may feel that their parents don't trust them.

As a kid, do your parents know about what you do on your phone? Do you ever think that they need to give you space? Trusting your kids with what they do online by giving them space and trusting them with what they do on their phone. I know this from experience. My parents go through my search history on my phone to make sure I don’t do anything wrong and so far, I haven’t done anything wrong. But because of how much they know about what I do online, it is making me want to stop all together. Parents should not monitor their kids lives because they are invading their privacy and the kids won’t trust them with their problems.

Technology can open a new world to young people but it can also expose the young people to significant risks. Monitoring what teens post online is the best way to keep them safe but keeping tabs on teens' online activity is an invasion of their privacy. Should parents monitor their kids' digital lives? Parents should monitor their kids' digital lives because they'll be less likely to post mean comments or engage in bad behavior and they'll be closer with there parents about the young adults problem

Keeping all eyes on a kids online life is an invasion of privacy. Kids’ today would most likely like to be left alone when it comes to social media or online friends. It is normal that parents worry about their kids making wrong or right choices online. Parents should not monitor their kids digital lives because it invades their privacy and it violates the bond of trust. When a parent gives their child the privilege in the first place there shouldn't be a reason why they don't trust them.

Many parents in the United States today monitor their child’s digital lives. Parents mainly want to do this to insure the security of their children while on their phone. But what if controlling your children like this can ruin a parent child relationship? Many people may think that keeping tabs on teens’ online activity is an invasion of privacy and can lead to a trust issue between parents and children but this is not necessarily true. Parents should be allowed to monitor their child's digital lives because they can keep them from bad internet content and out of trouble on social media websites.

However some people wonder whether or not parents should monitor their child’s digital life. I understand how the parents need to check on the child’s social media to make sure they aren’t doing anything bad, but parents should not monitor their child’s whole digital live.

If you are a parent, would u want to know what your kids are up to. well , there is some reasoning behind this. Some parents want to know what their children are up to because they want to know if their children are looking up bad things but some other parents don’t want to know(as in they don’t care). All kids think that parents are invading their privacy, but it is for the best. Parents should be allowed to monitor their kids' digital live but not every minute of the day. The reasons to this is because you want to know what they are doing and if it is something bad. Also the parents want to just check up on their children.

Do you want your parents knowing your secrets? It is the twenty first century and every teen has a smartphone or even a social media account. Apps like snapchat or instagram can be fun for friends to update fellow peers on recent activites. However, many adults fear what these apps are capable of , and will go as far as spying on their kids! This can a result in two ways the teen could either make another secret account or the child will stop trusting their parents. Yes, bad things can happen on social media , but by allowing your kids to have the apps makes the parent just as rely able. Parents should not monitor their childs digital lives because it can ruin the parent child bond and encourage the child to make secret accounts.

There has been controversy among teens and parents about social media. I ask myself, should my parents be monitoring my social media? Parents should monitor their kids’ digital life because it’ll protect their children from being visually harmed and make sure they don’t say anything unacceptable on social media. Even though kids wouldn’t like their parents to do that, it’s for the best.
