The United States should get involved in the affairs of other countries as long as it benefits the United States. An example of this would be the Panama canal. Getting involved in the Panama canal meant that we could continue trading there.

Using force to advance U.S. interests is okay because it benefits us. Although it may seem like we're "bullying" other countries it's ultimately good for both the United States and them.
