On the 5th March, I was participated the leadership program called "Good2Great Leader', it's somewhere around Ulu Yam forest. It was 3 day and 2 night camp. The participant are around 40+. All participant are from CUCMS, each of them are from different faculty but there is 10 students from Foundation program.
My first impression when we all meet up and gathered at campus before starting the program. I keep thinking that this program aren't going well because not all students are from same faculty and i only know few of them that actually are from Foundation.
After board the bus, we all sitting with people that we know only and no one actually came to other person that they don't know and introduce themselves. It's like they don't care others and only talk to their friends.
Once we arrive at destination, we all are being gathered at small hall. Facilitators start introduces and tells us more about this program about. Then we all when for ice-breaking, all Foundation students that I know are being split up each one of them and we all are being paired with someone that I don't even know that existed in campus. We had to tie our leg together and start running around with same walking pace finding clue everywhere on the floor, because that clue it's a part of activity in ice-breaking session.
The weird is after I being separated and paired up with different faculty, we all start laughing and enjoy our self together. It became more enjoyable as the time goes on.
I've learned a lot from this programmed and activities that are being given through out the camp. I start to become more approachable with people rarely talk to and start become friendly with others. I stop judging people from the first impression because, you never knew that person it's actually nice from inside when you get to know him, it just that he feel uneasy when we first met and talk each other.
