I have been interested in PBL since 2012, after graduating a local course about this theme. I have also implemented projects aimed on STEAM. 
An important problem that I am facing right now is the conflict between the new learning approaches anchored in solving real life problems through cooperation and the Romanian education system based on standard tests and competitions.

We live in a world where the use of technology became a necessity which makes our lives easier. 
B. PBL is the most suitable approach to introduce STEAM in the classroom. Both PBL & STEAM help the students to interact with the real life world problems so as to try to solve them engaging their curiosity, creativity, communication and cooperation skills. Both PBL & STEAM mean an interdisciplinary approach which challenge the teacher to search for methods which fully engage the students in their own learning process. 
C. These skills are essential in the age of the Internet. Each skill is unique in how it helps students to adapt to the society and to keep up with the lightning-pace of the modern labor markets.

A teaching and learning design focused on the 4Cs will enable the children with skills for today and tomorrow. A communicative and creative child, who knows how to work in teams, will become a successful adult, with a suitable job, who will adapt in the society and will live the life he wants to live.
