         <description><![CDATA[<div>*vikings werent just savages but traders and knowlegeble people. *the oldest viking remains are in bergen and vikings were buried with their prized belongings. <br>*the viking long boat was the iconic viking way of transport and life.<br>*even at that start of the viking age their ships were the best in erurope. <br>*vikings had very good craftsmen and had immense detail. the scandinavian's had adapted to the land and knew every little deatil on how to survive.<br>*rock carvings are found all over scandinavia from diffrent times.<br>the oldest viking ship called the ????? and is over 3000 years old.<br>-Most viking boulders are graves but not all their are over 50,000 islands between the baltic sea and these acted as a stoping point or refulling point for food and water. -travling by sea was much easier.<br>It was very hard to grow crops but down south in the sweden it was easier to grow crops.<br>-When their was good soil for crops people stayed there for and built huge mounds of dirt that took 2-3 months and 150 men working with little breaks. meat in the winter was very hard to come by and rarley had various meals. <br>-to survive a winter you always feel hope that there is an easier time ahead. <br>-the viking homes were much more elaborate that were built by long timber logs stood up right and sometimes a viking long ship turned up side down as a roof.<br>-the viking in the bronze age lived a long life with good diets and vikings took care of themselves. <br>The vikings were very good ship builders and have memorized the dimensions on how to build a boat scince the age of 12.<br>-viking ships were very good get away ships and raided very quickly and when ready to raid ships they could do it instantly.<br>-the viking age was full of diffrent tribes and diffrent cultre and were always squbbling over land allover scadanavia.<br>the viking were always had a facination over, amber and only the rich and powerful had access to this medetiranien luxury<br>-the vikings were very proud of there gods and defeined cultre glory and reputation.<br>-Having a good reputation was every thing for a viking and dying<br>honorably and they didn't have a fear of dying battle.<br>mounds were for the richest familys in scanandavia. a<br>- and they were buried there and burned their bodies.<br>-rich viking familys had very big houses with lost of craftmanship put in too it and liked to impress the visitors.<br>-the vikings had rituals of every 9 male's of each creature<br>-the vikings made horses for gods  and odins horse.<br>-when there was a viking funreal the vikings had put all their possesions on a boat all their pets and jewllery for the next life and slaughted anything they owned for the afterlife. <br>-the vikings did not just care about men but also women<br>-the vikings traded with all europe and the middle east and traded their skins </div>]]></description>
