In writing, we are working on the CA Travel Project where we pretend to drive around California to visit important cities and towns. On this "trip", students write pretend postcards to friends/loved ones with information about the sites, natural resources and fun at each spot. This Friday, students need to finish their letter about visiting a Gold Rush town in California. We will do this together in class. Continue to work on your presentation boards AT HOME. This includes the CA map (use the checkoff list to help you) and the decorations for the tri-fold board (stickers, title, paint, color, etc). There are NO requirements for the decorations. Please be creative.

This is a short chapter and we will have a mid chapter check on Thursday after the first 3 lessons. If you are absent please look in the "HW printables" section to print up the HW sheet.

IXL Tracker CH. 5 is due on Friday Nov. 15, the day of the test.

IXL tracker will be given out and must be completed by the end of the unit test. Each skill must be done to 60 smart score or higher. Your teacher has assigned your student their own goal numbers. Under “Homework Printables” there are notes and other helpful videos and tutorials for this chapter.
