They can knock down big buildings. They can blow away cars and trees as if they were feathers.
EF0, EF1, EF2, EF3, EF4, and EF5 are all different stages of a tornado. A EF5 is the worst tornado. They will destroy houses, carry cars and trees, and if you interact with them you will die. The worst ever tornado was in Bangladesh in Asia and 12,000 people were hurt and 80,000 people lost their homes.

(Guy S)How is this extreme weather measured or researched?

Tornado's are crazy things, but how do you now how there measured and researched? Read this to find out.

So you might has heard about these twisters but do you know how there measured? Well a tornado can't form without a thunder storm and it would usually be spring or summer. And of course you need ingredients to make one of these super twisters you need moisture, instability, lift and wind shear. We all know winds in a tornado can get fast, but how fast exactly? Fun Fact: Did you know winds in a tornado can get as fast as 300 MPH? Also, to make a tornado a thunder storm needs to have one of these followings: winds fast or faster than 58 MPH or hail bigger than 3/4 across. Here is my last fact, Tornado's are measured by EF-1, EF-2, EF-3, EF-4 and finally EF-5 the most deadly. You can think of them as a birthday cake with layers.
