Today’s usrah session focused on the Hadith Jibril, which explains the foundation of our religion in a very beautiful and simple way. From the discussion, I learned that this hadith is not just about rules, but about how to live as a true Muslim.

One of the main points was about Islam, Iman, and Ihsan. Islam is about the five pillars:

• Shahadah (declaring faith)

• Salah (prayer)

• Zakah (giving charity)

• Sawm (fasting in Ramadan)

• Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah)

Then, there is Iman, which means believing in the six articles of faith: Allah, angels, the holy books, the prophets, the Last Day, and divine decree (Qadr).

Lastly, Ihsan really touched me because it means worshipping Allah as if you can see Him, and even if you can’t, you know He sees you. This part reminds me that faith is not just about actions, but about sincerity and mindfulness.

We also discussed the signs of the Last Hour and the importance of asking questions to gain knowledge. One lesson that stood out to me is that it’s okay to say “I don’t know” because it shows humility and a willingness to learn.

Overall, this usrah session reminded me that our religion is complete and balanced. The pillars strengthen our connection with Allah and guide us to become better people.

In this session, we explored the Hadith Jibril, which outlines the foundation of Islam through Iman, Islam, and Ihsan. The discussion focused on three pillars of Iman:

1. Belief in Allah (Tawhid) – Affirming Allah’s Oneness as the sole Creator and Sustainer. The Qur’an emphasizes that no one is comparable to Him (Al-Ikhlas 112:1–4). This belief strengthens one’s faith through prayer, reflection, and trust in Allah’s plan.

2. Belief in Angels (Malaikah) – Acknowledging their existence as beings created from light who carry out Allah’s commands, record deeds, and deliver messages. This reminds Muslims to act righteously as angels witness their actions.

3. Belief in Divine Books (Kutub) – Recognizing the scriptures revealed by Allah (Tawrat, Zabur, Injil, and Al-Qur’an) as guidance for mankind. The Qur’an stands as the final and preserved revelation, providing wisdom and truth.

The session also highlighted the importance of applying these beliefs by studying the Qur’an, practicing its teachings, and sharing knowledge with others. The Qur’an’s miraculous nature, consistency, and fulfillment of prophecies affirm its divine origin.

This session reminded me that true faith (Iman) is not only belief but also action. By understanding and practicing these pillars, I can strengthen my relationship with Allah and live as a better Muslim guided by revelation.

Belief in Rasul and Anbiya’ (Messengers and Prophets)

Believing that Allah sent messengers to every nation to call them to worship Allah alone (Tawhid).
All messengers were truthful, trustworthy, and guided.
Rejecting one prophet means rejecting all prophets.

Through my recent experiences, I reflected on the importance of being patient, attentive, and responsible in both individual and group activities. I realized that effective communication and teamwork are essential for success.

From the Usrah sessions, I recognized that I can improve by being more consistent in participating actively, sharing ideas, and applying the lessons learned in daily life. I aim to enhance my understanding, practice discipline in implementing Islamic values, and develop better self-awareness to grow spiritually and socially.
