This image is a great representation of what I want to talk about and gives a very basic and helpful insight into factors that affect mortgage rates. Mortgage rates can fluctuate depending on numerous factors it's important to consider these factors when looking at a mortgage.

I chose this image because it caught my eye and stood out. I liked how it included inflation and economic growth because those are the other two topics I'm going to talk about

I chose this image because I found it to be incredibly useful. It provides further insight on what factors determine a high or low interest rate as I touched base on from image one. I love the overall design of the image I find it to be simple and easily comprehendible

It goes into further detail about how inflation directly affects your mortgage and how it causes mortgage rates to increase. It also provides valuable tips on how you can minimize the effects inflation has on your mortgage.

I chose this website because I found it to be incredibly useful. It's important to be aware of what can affect your mortgage and how drastically it can change it. I like how thorough this website went into Inflation because it's a topic that I'm aware off but I have no knowledge about. One thing that I liked about this website was although it was very factual it made comparisons to real-life scenarios so for me it was easier to follow along.

It explains the difference of fixed vs variable-rate mortgages and their pros and cons. They also outline steps on how to qualify for a mortgage in Canada.

I chose this website because I wanted to drive deeper to what a mortgage really is. I also wanted to see how it was described from a Canadian company perspective. One thing I liked about this website is how it compared Canada's mortgage rates to other countries, this is the first website I have seen to have done this. I thought this was unique and I was curious to see how well or not well we are doing as a country

This website describes the economic challenges that Canada is facing. It explains the hardship of struggling households as well as individuals. It expands on the housing market and outlines one of Canada's biggest issues which is rising unemployment.

I chose this website because this is something that needs to be brought to our attention more and is incredibly sad. With the increased inflation and high housing market, Canada's economy is growing at a substantial rate. The problem is the cost of living is too high and there is a massive unemployment surge within our country. Which has led to many Individuals and families to struggle financially. I like that this website brought up this issue because it's something that isn't addressed enough

This website brings to light how Inflation is directly affecting Canadians. It explains how Canadians were first impacted by the rising food prices, then as inflation grew, it started to affect day-to-day lifestyles and the ability to afford rent and housing.

I chose this website because although that article was posted roughly a year ago Inflation is still affecting us today therefore it's relevant for my topic, I also chose this website because of its expert analysis and trustworthiness and its reliable information regarding percentages and factual information. One thing I liked about this website was the amount of statistics they provided and how it related to before and after the pandemic

I chose this YouTuber because he was a Canadian. It is ideal for individuals to learn about which mortgage rate is best for them and really understand what they are getting into and who to trust. I personally liked his YouTube video because he talked about the misconceptions regarding both rates. For me this video stood out and provided me with valuable information for my future

I chose this video because this is the first video I saw that showcased Canada's rate of Inflation decreasing. I thought it was interesting because I thought that Inflation was just going to continue to Increase. I found this video to be really informative and extremely beneficial for my topic

I chose this video because affording housing and paying for rent is one of the biggest challenges in Canada today. Inflation has driven up prices for everything. I thought this video was incredibly helpful to me because I graduate next year and will be looking to get my own place. I like how this video mainly focused on the housing market because this has been one of the primary problems in Canada

This video also talks about the demand for more rental properties as the cost of living is to expensive. This video also talks about policy rules that might be implemented such as increasing housing supply and being in control of rent.

I chose this video because although it was similar to Video # 3 this video outlined policies that might be put in place to put pressure on inflation. I liked this video because It's the only one I watched that addressed policies in the future. As a viewer I hope these polices become a reality because this would solve a lot of problems for Canadians

Honestly, what surprised me most was the effect Inflation has had on the Canadian economy. Even though it's not as bad today what Inflation has caused is shocking to me. prices everywhere have gone up, there's a housing crisis, and rent is too expensive. Canadians just cant afford to live and it's affected day-to-day living to a point its going to take awhile for Canada to recover.

A real-life example of this topic for me would be moving from place to place over the last couple of years because of the price of rent. I have come to realize the financial hardship and stress this has put on my family, and now, after researching it, I know exactly how my parents feel.

I think the most important thing to pass on would be how inflation has affected housing and rent prices and I would say this to my friend because he has recently been mentioning to me that he is looking to move out and rent his own apartment.
