I want to learn how to intentionally say no without holding onto unnecessary guilt. I want to be able to ask for help and model this for those I supervise!

Remind myself that delegating tasks empowers my staff in their own leadership, creativity, and abilities. I will practice intentionally delegating one task per week.

I will request help from my team/peers if I notice overwhelm/anxious feelings overcasting a project.

I noticed that I often delegate to encourage staff ownership and nurture staff strengths. I enjoy listening to staff's ideas and being a sounding board and try to use reflective questions. My favorite quote is: Anything is possible when you believe in yourself.

I will practice mindfulness when speaking with a staff by looking at the speaker, listen actively, and be in the present moment with the speaker. (Like when I watch a movie). I want to practice more on learning about their strengths and encouraging the possibilities.
