My group hade to make a short film for Aice Media we chose a haunting/creepy short film about a stalker.

what was good about the film
Some of the good aspects in the film are that actors didn't seem nervous or laugh in any of the scenes . Another good aspect is that our music choices fit the story and theme of the film.

What was bad about the film.
The film didn't have the best quality of sound because of we didn't have a real mic and you can hear the background noses. Another thing about the film is we didn't have a variety of POV shots we needed to include a front and back shots in some parts and some of the editing of black screens were to long.

My class was assigned another group's original film and tasked with rewriting and improving the script. We had to include 10 different kinds of shots and camera movement. My group was tasked to redo a film that involved a person that had superpowers and using them to kill people. My group changed it by showing how the person got there superpowers and what lead up to what made him kill people. For the 10 different kinds of shots and camera movements we decided to use close up, color, depth, high angle shot, long shot, over the shoulder shot, pan left and right, three shot, and a tilt up or down camera movement. My role in this film was a back ground character and the camera operator. Last film my role was only a background character. I have learned a lot of how I can manipulate the camera to get the shots and movements we needed

My groups new film had good and bad aspects in the film. The good aspects were that we had a variety of shots like over the shoulder, three shot, and we used pan a lot in our film an example of using pan is that we used it to follow someone that is walking in a hallway. My group also had some bad aspects. One of them was our film was a little quiet, next time we need to amp up the volume a little more in the editing phase of the film. Another bad aspect is our shots were a little under exposed, We will need to use the light on our tripods next time.

In our film we had a plethora of shots. The main three that worked for us in the film were pan, over the shoulder, and tilt up or down. For pan it worked because we had many walking scenes so we used the pan to our full advantage. Over the shoulder allowed us to have our conversations in the film be more interesting and not as bland. Finally tilt up or down allowed us to show how our killer would do things we would use it to show him using his powers or him killing someone.
