Another possible solution would be to allow students who finish early to assist those without a partner. Again, it all depends on the type of activity and the importance of working in pairs.

b) I would recommend using a random selection method for answering questions. This approach gives all students the chance to participate and avoids any possible negative feelings from Fan Kong for not being chosen each time.

c) If we were working with children or very young learners, a fun way to encourage communication in English would be to set up "circles" around the classroom: when they are inside those circles, they have to speak in English, and when outside, they can switch to their mother tongue. A reward system could also be implemented for positive reinforcement.

d) In this case, I believe it would be very important to provide her with various opportunities for participation, such as small group discussions, written responses, or one-on-one activities.

Activity 4

1.

Thinking about my time in this course, I have to say, it's been a really positive experience. Cecilia and Florencia are fantastic teachers. They’re always professional, and their feedback has been incredibly helpful. It’s clear they genuinely care about our progress and want us to succeed.

One part of the course that I’ve particularly enjoyed is the classroom management segment. It’s something I’ve always struggled with in my own teaching, so learning new strategies and techniques has been really valuable. The tips and practical advice they’ve given us have already made a big difference in how I handle my classroom. I feel more confident and better equipped to create a positive learning environment for my students.

Despite the course being online, I’ve really appreciated how dynamic and engaging the lessons are. Cecilia and Florencia have done an amazing job at keeping things interesting. We do a lot of group work, which I love because it allows us to collaborate and learn from each other. The practice sessions are great too, they ensure we’re not just absorbing information but actually applying what we’ve learned.

I also enjoy how varied the lessons are, which keeps things fresh and makes the learning process much more enjoyable. Even though we’re not in a physical classroom, it feels like we’re all connected and actively participating.

The feedback from Cecilia and Florencia has been another highlight for me. It’s always specific and actionable, which helps me understand exactly what I need to improve on and how to do it. Their constructive criticism has pushed me to reflect on my teaching practices and strive to get better every day.

Overall, this course has been great. I've picked up a lot of new ideas, especially about classroom management, which I really needed. Cecilia and Florencia are awesome, and their support has made a big difference. I’m looking forward to what’s next and seeing how I can keep improving.
