Without them, homelessness rates will go down and billionaires can not hoard money.

Everything is equal but controlled by the government, equal access to healthcare and education, the poverty less decreasing, workers can't be exploited because they own the means of the production.

In a socialist society, monopsony and monopoly powers are either very small, or there is none at all. This means that minimum wages can be increased, and everyone can make a decent amount of money for stable living.

Capitalism is good because it helps the economy grow. America is built on entrepreneurs. In a socialism economy the government owns everything. Nothing is owned by the people. The citizens are overrun by the government. They have little freedom to make decisions on their own. People might say that it gets rid of social classes but without the rich people building the economy up, you won't have a well developed country. Image Apple and MacIntosh. Those guys were entrepreneurs those companies would not exist without a capitalist economy. But also everyone works for the same amount of money. Image being a lawyer and getting paid the same as a cashier. It is not equal. And if you work hard and the cashier does not they still get paid the same amount as you. And if they have a bigger family they will get more resources than you. You should have to earn things. Nothing in life should be handed to you. People who live in socialistic economies can slack off. In capitalistic economies people also slack off but they have to pay a price. A poor person can become rich if they work hard and put the effort in. But to deny someone the money they deserve so people become "equal" is ridiculous. People get mocked at for being poor and socialism might help that. But we are human they will just come up with a new reason to hate on someone. We can't solve every problem an individual faces. To keep people equal we need to give someone the money and resources they deserve based on their performance not anybody else's.

Socialism - Fair Money Distribution - Team 9

When money is being distributed, it is based on your hours rather than how much value you make during work. While this may sound bad, some people move naturally slower than others, mentally and physically. People work at different paces, so Socialism allows people to work at their own pace rather than try to fit in as much work as possible.

In a capitalist society, there are stock markets. When buying a stock you can earn money based on how much the company you bought the stock from is earning. While in some circumstances you can hit a high, there can be plenty of lows too. Stock market crashes are devastating to a nation, citizens lose money, the government loses money, and businesses lose money. Product prices are brought to major lows so business owners can try to make at least some profit, but most of the time businesses close, and people lose their homes and jobs.

Firms with monopsony power can pay their workers at a very low wage, which can cause workers to become poor, and not be able to provide for themselves. This happens a lot with large businesses, such as Wal-mart, Target, McDonald's, Macy's, etc.

While Socialism does have a good chance to make a lot of money, It is completely run by the government. This means that the Government get most of the profits including small buisnesses and even their own citizens pay. Most of the time this results in lots of buildings being closed and people losing their jobs. This also means that the government can spend the money from buisnesses on unessesary things. This is why most countries don't have fair pay to their citizens because the government is spending it all.

If a country has a lot of poverty, and a socialist economy or government is in play, they most likely won't care about the poverty rate. This results in the literacy rate to decrease along with the GDP. WHile the government has all the cash, people barely get much from it as a result. This means that less education, less jobs, and more poverty. If this happens, other countries might consider that certain country a wreak.
