Assalamualaikum and hallo! I'm Aiyani but people prefer to call me Yani because it is easier. I'm officially 18 years old on the 8th of May 2022. I was born and live in Penang. I have never traveled out of Penang for so long and so far away. So, coming to CFS Gambang is a challenge for me. Also, I have never stayed in a hostel. Hence, being away from home for 4 months straight is extremely hard :( But fret not, I managed to adjust to being here quite fast and enjoy my life as a CFS student here.

I have many hobbies including reading online novels, listening to songs especially ballad songs, and watching movies. To be specific, I love action, crime, and natural disaster movies. Those types of movies are just chef's kiss. I also love playing badminton but I'm not that good but also not that bad.

So, what are the hikmah, or in other words, the benefits? As in the poster, there are 6 advantages if we study more to improve our 'amal. To further elaborate on the points, I will give an example. For instance, when one studies to improve his Salah, he will get self-improvement. Not just in his Salah, but also in his discipline as he will be alert of the time of Salah. As a result, he will also become closer to Allah SWT, be a better Muslim and strengthen his Iman.

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ مَنْ أَحْسَنَ عَمَلًا ٣٠       
As for those who believe and do good, We certainly never deny the reward of those who are best in deeds.
[Surah Al-Kahfi (18:30)]

All in all, only good things will come to us if we study to improve our 'amal.

My group was assigned to make a poster on Haji, specifically about Wuqf.

In Sahih Muslim, it was narrated from Aisha that the Prophet, God’s blessings and peace upon him said, “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. He comes close and expresses His fulfillment to the angels, saying, “What do these people want?”

Based on the hadith above, the day of wuqf is a very special day which give a lot of unbelivable benefits for us, muslims.
