Fun fact: After the first round of flames when she was sentenced to death, Joan's body was pulled from the coals and put on display. The intent of this was to show any people who doubted that she actually died that she absolutely did not escape, and was burnt. Her body was then put back into the flames until it had completely disintegrated. She believed God had sent her to save France and so that is exactly what she did, in doing so she stole multiple horses and that is why she was killed not because of "witchcraft" which most people believe she died on account for. She was also illiterate but still believed in God through visions she claimed to have had.

st anthony was born into a weathy catholic family. in 1210 he joined the franciscan order hoping to preach to the Saracens (Muslims) and be martyred. he died in 1231 from ergotism at the age of 35. his last words were "your will be done. Come, Lord Jesus!" "And now God save you, children, for Antony departs and is with you no more." he inspres me to keep on going even when the going gets tough. in 1263 anthonys body was fully decomposed but curiously his tounge was still wet and as incorrupt as it had been in life when he was celebrated for his oratory skills.
his major shrine is the Basilica of St Anthony of Padua in Padova Italy.
He was canonized on 30 May 1232 by Pope Gregory lx

He worked on establishing an orphanage and children’s hospital. He lived a strict life for himself, by not allowing himself to eat meat.
