Nathalia’s answer about Dani , Bias and Valen’ worksheet:

- No , a preposicional verb cannot be separed . In this case , the object usually comes after the phrasal verb . If we separe these ones , the particle (prepositional) can make the sentence incoherent, because , in a phrasal verb , it’s function can be a little different of a simple preposition . Sometimes , the phrasal verbs don’t have any correct meaning , are only regional expressions.
-Yes, actually they’re always transitive because a preposition link terms , so we NEED to have a direct object (2 prepositions together would be weird) , to have sense.
-No . Sometimes, the phrasal verb has the same meaning of the main verb , but sometimes , it has a completely different meaning and is used only in informal dialogues. We use them to indicate actions a simple verb cannot ; this is the cause we depend of the them to formulate whole sentences.
-Break down (to demolish) , to break in (to tame) , to break away (to escape)
