My strengths and weaknesses in ,music are that i can play multiple instruments at a base level at the least allowing me to be versatile in what I do in challenges. I also can read sheet music which allows me to understand the other parts of what I am playing and help others in what they are doing.

we were able to teach one of their people play the baseline of the piano and play a little and a little bit of the melody as well

Is there anything you find challenging?
I find challenging playing all the notes in time and figuring put how to play notes ad rhythms i have not come across before on the drums

my skills are developing because i can now play the crash drum in time and accurately with all the fills that were incorporated into the sheet music. I am also now attempting to incorporate more drums into the piece to try and make it sound more full over all.

Is anything going particularly well?
yes we are now able to all play in time and have sorted out the guitar tab and violin issues. there are also more clearly grouped sections of the piece accented and separated by fills on the drums.

Is there anything you find challenging?
yes sometimes when playing we cannot hear the violin and as such cannot hear when they are finished playing or if they continue. as well as this the piece sometimes drags on as there is an improvisation section near the end so it is hard to judge when to end the piece

Do you need to adjust your action plan?
yes we now need to work on timing the sections of the piece so that we know when it ends begins and when each section ends and begins. my skills have developed because I have now figured out how to time my symbols better and when to use fills. I am also now able to queue people in with different symbols and am more consistent with what I am doing.

yes, our timing is much more cohesive now and we are able to sound better as a unit. this is because we were able to tune all of the instruments to the piano instead of their actual tunings as the piano was not in tune. We also were able to find a cohesive end t our piece as before this we struggled with this so the end would keep going on and on.
Is there anything you find challenging?
Do you need to adjust your action plan?
Yes as we have added a singer and have realized that the baseline of the piano should not run through the whole song because some parts of it sound better without it.

We also had to translate the guitar notes into tab from what was written on the original sheet music. This at first seemed an insurmountable challenge but soon shrunk to a mound that we were able to easily conquer. Another challenge that made us need to change the action plan was one of our pianists. for the ensemble work I played drums for our ensemble. this entailed keeping time in the piece. making sure the other musicians were cued. The drums in the piece along with the baseline acted as a driving force in the song which allowed for more complicated arrangements in the improvisation section and also allowed for the baseline to be less prevalent as our pianist at the time wasn't as experienced as some of the rest of our group.

I was told that there are many careers in music such as technician, DJ, manager, and producer. I also attended a course over various amount of months to try and experience what it would be like to be a music technician. this club took place after school on Thursdays and it allowed me a greater depth into the world of music production and helped me make beats using loops and through my own means. in this club, I learned how to make music for advertisements and clips of movies and also learned how to make different styles of music such as rap (mainly hip hop, drill, and trap) as well as music such as lo-fi. we learned about how technicians may use different speakers and headphones to the casual listener whose headphones are built to enhance the sound of the audio being played and how producer headphones contrast this because they are meant to show the music as exactly what it is so you are not blindsided when it is played on the radio and sounds different to what you produced in the studio.

He also told me about different festivals and venues across europe such as Glastonbur  and how he got the jobs by working with musicians he met at rehearsal studios meeting musicians from working in in a rehearsal studio

He told me about how it is a stable income but there are also hardships such as being at sea for long periods of time. Some other cons of being a musician are regality of work.
