The Colorado was done in first person to develop that ethos and pathos for the viewers. By getting close to the nature, it brings more life out of it. I felt that the river pov made the video more heartwarming and relatable. Humans are more likely to preserve and protect somethig that hold dear.

I look at the mountains at school and would say that it is mostly in its natural state. Although there are modifications to the mountain it is mostly in its natural state still. We use the river for our water source but if things don't change soon it will no longer be a sustainable resource for you.

If the Colorado river ended in Southern California in a city like Los Angeles or Oakland, I think the river delta would be in a worse state and condition. Because it goes against the concept of environmental justice and fairness, I do think that LA or San Diego would receive poorer treatment and have an unhealthier river delta because they are much bigger cities and have more influence.
