Does heart rate increase when doing physical activity? In fact it does. When timing the resting heart rate it is normal but when the physical activity increases the heart rate increases. The hypothesis was correct when it stated that the heart rate does increase. In the lab results when the heart rate was steadied it was an average of 64 bpm. When the intensity of physical activity increased the heart rate averaged 103.6. In this experiment it was a little difficult to not lose the heartbeat or for it to be hard to count it.

Another way to come to a consensus on the problem is these heart rate bands. While wearing these in gym the heart rate band is increasing the more physical activity is being done.
