   The Sixth Amendment gives Americans the right to have a fair trial in court and not just immediately serve consequences. It states that we as Americans have the right to meet our witnesses and know what we’re being accused of. It makes sure we have an impartial jury and the right to have a lawyer.

(22-Limit terms two twice)- ratified on February 27, 1951 

According to the 22nd amendment no one can be president for more than two terms 

This amendment also stops someone who filled in a term for more than two years from running as president from for more than two terms 

Example: let’s say a president was impeached and the Vice President became the new president if they covered the term for less than two years than they can run for president two times if not then they can’t run for president more than once

In Britain the main source of proof in the courts was confessions of the accused.

James Madison proposed the 5th amendment in 1789, when he proposed the bill of rights.

The right to be free from self incrimination was in nine state constitutions before it was put into the constitution.

June 13, 1966: The Supreme Court decided the outcome of Miranda v. Arizona, stating that if an accused person isn’t aware of their 5th amendment rights their confession cannot be used in court.

The last time the 5th amendment was brought to the supreme courts was in 2003, Sattazahn v. Pennsylvania, it's not double jeopardy if a convict appeals his life sentence and the jury denies his appeal and gives him a life sentence.
