I would like to close the gender gap in political representation in Japan. People in our government make decisions for our country, for example laws about maternity and paternity leave. Without women in high political positions, women's interests will not be represented.

Different but balanced

I think we don't have to close the gender gap in Japan, especially in terms of working life. I think it is fine for men to work and women to stay home and take care of the household. That way their jobs are balanced and complimentary. If both men and women work outside the home and inside the home, it becomes too busy and exhausting.
