<title>This is from Julie. Not sure why it says anonymous. Also, ignore the syllabus question. I found the longer syllabus with the info. This is about 126-36, Notes; (PFTS: preparing for this section); (AYU: HW problems at beginning of assignment corresponding to PFTS) Julie: I&#39;m not sure why rationalizing den is for 3.1. I see one problem rationalizing den num (#5 in AYU) which isn&#39;t from 3.1. I do see rationalizing num in one problem (89) but it&#39;s with variables is not covered on review sheet anyway. Since 3.1 is on functions, and doesn&#39;t contain formulas, I don&#39;t think Evaluate a Formula (or that simple review sheet) needs to be covered. It&#39;s not one of the topics in PFTS. Also, though 3.1 PFTS mentions intervals, I don&#39;t see any HW problem asking for, or any answer using interval notation, except #1. They use set builder notation in the few problems with inequalities. In general, the topics listed in PFTS are in the AYU at the beginning, but then those are not necessarily used in the section or in the regular HW problems. I&#39;m not seeing the connection.</title>
