This video does an amazing job of going really in-depth about life insurance in Canada. It is amazing to watch for a visual learner like myself and goes through why you need life insurance, what life insurance you should get, and all the types that are offered to you in Canada. I chose this video because it really goes through the basics of everything you need to know and is great for visual learning. Something that I found useful in this video that was different then the others is he really does a great job of turning words into visuals, throughout the video.

This video talks about the basics of life insurance and how to make sure you are not getting ripped off when considering life insurance. He first speaks out the differences between term insurance and permanent insurance and provides basic straight to the point bullet notes on what each insurance does and the basics for each type. I chose this video because I liked how short the video was and straight to the point and also spoke very clearly was straight to the point and super easy to understand, he also spoke about how you have to take EVERYTHING into consideration because as you get older or further into life your priorities might change and the things you want insured might change or increase so you have to be very careful and thoughtful when choosing your insurance.

This video is by the same creator as Video #1. I really enjoyed his videos as they really allowed to get good visuals to understand better. He talks in this video about the good and bad of term life insurance and really allows you to get a grip and start thinking about what kind of life insurance you need. I chose this video because in the video he starts to make real life comparisons. He begins to talk about the pricing of the different types of life insurance and then relates it to costs of real life items and habits so you get a good understanding of how much life insurance really costs.

In this video just like the others he goes over the differences between term and whole life insurance, I am not sure if this is specific to Canada but I could not find any information anywhere else. In this video he is very funny! I found that this helped stay focused throughout the video as it is a longer one compared to the rest. I also enjoyed that he was writing out what he was talking about in the video on the white board behind him which also I found was something different then the rest of the videos and helped you stay entertained and helps you better understand the information!

This website starts off by giving you a good overview of what life insurance is and Canada Life is probably the #1 company in Canada that offers life insurance so it is a very trustworthy site. It goes over the different types of life insurance and what things you should be looking at in your life that could help determine what coverage you need. I chose this website as it differs from other because this one provides a super detailed chart that compares the two types of life insurance and gives you a super easy visual to make sure you're choosing the correct coverage for you and your lifestyle.

I thought that including a page about life insurance right from Canada.ca was extremely important and their website has everything you need to possibly know about Canada in general so its perfect to include! This page goes through the basics of Term and Permanent and then the sub-topics in each one, such as in Term insurance it speak on "Joint first-to-die term insurance" and "Single term insurance", and for Permanent insurance it speaks on "Whole life insurance" and "Permanent life insurance". Something that I found like was different on this website then the rest was that this website spoke a lot on beneficiaries which I found not many of the others did if at all, this reason and the reason that is it directly from Canada.ca is the reasons I chose this site compared to others.

This website just like some of the others speaks on the basics of life insurance and the differences between them. I like that this one was very specific to Canada and showed all the options available in Canada. I like that this website didn't have bundles and bundles of information but had just enough so you understood each section and what it was offering. I chose this site over others because I liked that this site gave you the option to book a call with an advisor to help you with your decisions and gave you the option to get an instant quote and a calculator to help you determine how much coverage you need.

This website is by Manulife which I thought would be a good idea to include because they are a direct company that offers coverage. I was curious to see how their website would look and the information provided compared to the other company websites that offer coverage. This one is pretty similar to the others, just giving you basic information on each term of life insurance and what each one does as well as some of the combination insurance they offer. I think this one is different than the others because it was super easy to navigate and they provided tabs on the side of the main page that allows you to navigate between specific sections that you are interested and I know most sites have this but on this site it was easier to use and see and I really enjoyed navigating this site!

This image is an image of a funeral. I chose this image as a symbol for life insurance because a funeral or cremation is something almost every family wants to do to celebrate the life of the past loved one. Funerals and cremation can cost thousands and thousands of dollars and your family immediately having these funds from the past loved ones life insurance would provide a lot of relief for the family knowing they can have a proper burial or cremation of their family member.

1. I think the thing I learnt about my topic that surprised me the most was how many different types of life insurance there really is, I knew that there were at least 2 but I didn't know how many different types that make it so much more confusing when trying to find the right one for you.
2. A relevant example to how this topic is relevant to me is that I am at the age where I have to start thinking about things like life insurance! I think picking this topic was an excellent choice and I am very happy I did because I learnt a lot.
3. If I could pass on the information I learnt to a family member I think the most important piece of information I could pass on would be to choose extremely wisely when picking your life insurance because like a lot of videos and websites said that you might chose a certain type while you are younger but as you grow older, your priorities change and things you need covered you might have to now change to have those things covered so choose very wisely.
