A good example of this would be the main characters hair style, since that mainly is all we know about the characters personality. He explains to his father that this imaginary friend warned him that something bad might happen if he continues to be near his father in the hotel. The father responds angrily, telling him that he spoke to Tony a few days prior and he warned him of something similar, telling him that he should leave the hotel before something bad happens and that this led to a fight between the two because the father feels perfectly fine and sane.
