         <description><![CDATA[<p>You can know which equation should use addition or subtraction by looking if the both equations has the same integers and the same coefficient then it would be subtraction</p><p>Addition would be when the both equations has different coefficient and opposite integers and you would need to multiply by -1 on an equation to subtract the both.</p>]]></description>

You use subtraction when you have the same signs on the equations so both of them can cancel themselves and therefore, they will be able to isolate the variable which will guide to the number that is represented by x or y.</p>]]></description>
