This evolutionary tree shows different organisms and their relationship or not relationship with the tiktaalik. With this also is a an explanation of how closely related the tiktaalik and insect is, and how closely related the tiktaalik and the seals are.

In this we compared and found out which embryo was most like the tiktaalik and that was the fish. The embryo we compared was the salamander, and that's the one with a red box over it.
