This shows that Marxist Criticism is used in this play. Another example of that is Iago and Cassio. Cassio was a higher rank in the military than Iago was. Which made Iago really jealous and upset at Cassio because Cassio was not as experienced as Iago so Iago thought he was going to get a raise in rank however Cassio got it instead of him. Which angered him and made him to make descisions cause of jealousy.
