During my practicum I became friends with a teacher who showed me his classroom setup and it was easily the best classroom environment I ever experiences. He had fairy lights in his class and would dim the main lights to create a more relaxed feel. His class had stools, high chairs and a bunch of fun seating options. He also had a shelf filled with board games, a storage unit with snacks, a mini pool table, a fooseball table and a bunch of other fun things.

The best classroom environment I experienced in my educational career was my 8th grade class. My teacher was a simple but stern individual. He had a commanding presence, but also allowed us to have fun. Everyday in his class, I was so excited to learn something new, but also excited to see what surprises he had for us.

My favourite classroom experience was probably my grade 10 business class. The teacher was always welcoming and honest. She never covered up her true feelings and it just made us respect her more as we knew she was being her real self. She also made assignments that were fun and creative. She was always fair with her grading and you knew exactly what to expect.

My grade 4 teacher pushed me to be the best version of myself. She forced me into Extended French by telling my parents about the program without telling me. At the time I thought it was the end of the world; new school, new friends, new language. Now that I am becoming a French teacher, I have her to thank. I only hope I can become half the teacher that she is.

One of the best classroom environments I have seen is with my current Mentor Teacher and the way they handle the multiple split grade classes throughout the day. He has a good rapport with the group, as well as with the students when they have an individual question or inquiry.

One of the best classroom environments that I personally experienced would have to be my son's grade 5 class (I shadowed with his teacher). It wasn't so much the physical classroom as it was the atmosphere of the classroom. The teacher was kind, compassionate, caring and always willing to help and put the kids needs first. She did have a nice physical set up as well. She had round tables instead of individuals tables, so the students always had the ability to work in groups. She also had some individuals tables for some students that preferred to sit alone. She had an area with fidget gadgets, she had many students with different needs. she also had headphones for students to use when they needed quiet.

The best classroom environment I experienced was my grade 11/12 biology teacher. She was the most accommodating and understanding teacher I had ever had and was always available for her students after class. She would give up her prep time or her lunches to sit down with me and make sure I understood concepts and would give it her all just to make sure that I felt confident before tests.

The best classroom environment I experienced was in grade 12 calculus. This was the first time in high school where a math teacher didn't seem concerned about having enough time to cover everything. She took our opinions into account of what to do on a given day (lesson, work period) and gave us lots of opportunities to work on problems together during class. Overall, the environment was quite relaxed and social, while still having us be on task.
