When in reality all President Obama wanted to do was show his respect and appreciation towards King Abdullah “who has made one of the most important calls in the modern era, namely the call for interfaith and intercultural dialogue to defuse hatred, conflict and wars”. In America by President Obama appearing as a bow towards King Abdullah, it made an appearance that President Obama belittles the power and independency of the United States as if King Abdullah had a higher power. Whereas when you bow towards a king it is a sign of respect towards them, not belittling yourself.
