At one point in time, Village welcomed new people, but as time went on, the villagers no longer wanted new people, and voted. After the vote, Village was closed off, and did not welcome newcomers. 
     Matty has been messenger between Village and other communities. After Village closed off, Matty must deliver the message to Kira, Seers daughter to return with him. 
As he is delivering the message through the forest he discovers a secret talent. He was able to heal a frog with a severed leg.
